MGFC is run by Marc Ganych- Fencing Master of the USSR.
Coach Marc teaches Olympic Sport of Foil Fencing to children at the Fencing Club in Canton, CT. He also leads personal training sessions and works with Businesses and Recreation Departments across Connecticut.
MEMBERSHIP WITH THE CLUB
MG Fencing Club offers two types of memberships :
Tax is included in the price.
Recreational membership: 2 classes per week ( $180)
Competitive membership: Unlimited classes per month ( $240 )
You can pay with Check, Cash , PayPal ,Zelle or Venmo.
You can also pay per class at $25 per lesson.
The Club provides fencing equipment for a month to beginner students, then helps you to buy high quality fencing equipment.
We don't make contracts. You pay month-to-month.
We train on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 7pm-8:30pm.
On Fridays 6-7pm, beginners class.
From 7pm-8:30pm (electric fencing for competitive fencers).
Sometimes coach Marc is available on Saturdays and invites students for one hour extra fencing training at 12pm.
This is by invitation only.

First family member pays a full price, rest of the family members get 20% off.
Coach Marc holds his classes 5-6 days a week in a clean air-conditioned Jazzercise studio, at 261 Albany Turnpike in Canton, Connecticut.
Fencers learn and master beginner, intermediate and advanced fencing techniques of Foil Fencing.
We accept students ages 7 and up.
People that are curious about foil fencing may choose Mondays or Wednesdays to train.
Competitive fencers may train any day they like, unlimited access to classes.
MG Fencing is also operating in towns of Farmington on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5pm and Burlington on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5pm.
In order to sign up for classes in those town, you will have to contact towns' Recreation Departments.
Coach Marc also offers private lessons, skillfully tailored to your fencing ambitions
Our Fencing School produces competitive fencers with immaculate foil fencing techniques.
Marc Ganych is a Fencing Master of USSR.
Studied Olympic foil Fencing from 1979 to 1987 in the Fencing School of Olympic reserve "Spartacus"- the cradle of two World Champions. Marc is an expert in Olympic foil fencing. In 1985 received an award from referees at the National competition of USSR for "Outstanding Fencing Techniques". Gold Medalist of the First Junior Games in 1984, Bronze Medalist of the National Tournament "Blades of Ala-Tau" in 1985. An author of e-book: "Powerful Fencing Footwork". Bachelor's of Science in Physical Education and Exercise.
